PRESIDENT'S ANNUAL REPORT 2010–2011
The previous year was one of transition and rebirth for the Community Free Software Group. Through the considerable efforts of the Board of Directors an extensive reorganization took place. Infrastructure was updated to reflect the new organizational identity and allow for new opportunities to fulfill the group's mission. New outreach initiatives were planned that are already attracting motivated and talented Free Software supporters and enthusiasts.
The upcoming year promises to be a time of increased activity and dynamism, with the resurgence of CFSG as a presence in the regional technology and public service communities. Increased participation and sponsorship of conferences and events will raise the group's profile, and a corresponding increase in resources promises to launch the organization into a new phase of growth and development.
I look forward to the changes a reformed and revitalized CFSG will bring, and am excited to continue being a part of them.
